The team has wide-ranging areas of interest when it comes to animal care, ranging from cattle to exotic pets and equine medicine. Dr. Steve DeBruinDr. Steve DeBruin has been helping animals his entire life. Beginning at just nine years of age when he set the broken leg of a bird, being a veterinarian was his passion. Dr. DeBruin received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ohio State University, graduating from the School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. He founded Feeder Creek Veterinary Services, Inc. that same year. Dr. DeBruin enjoys working with all animal species, large and small. He particularly enjoys helping pets with skin issues, and working with dairy and beef cattle. In 1996 Dr. DeBruin received the Distinguished Service Award from the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association.Dr. DeBruin is married and has four daughters. His hobbies include white-water rafting, travel, hiking, scuba diving and photography.
Dr. Ed BiggieDr. Ed Biggie decided to become a veterinarian early in life. He grew up in a small coastal town in Maine and always felt the desire to work with animals. Dr. Biggie pursued that desire by attending the University of Maine and earning a BS degree in Animal Science, and then graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Dr. Biggie worked in a mixed animal practice before coming to Feeder Creek in 1995. His focus is with orthopedic and general surgery in addition to preventative care. Dr. Biggie currently serves on the board of trustees for the Ohio Animal Health Foundation.When not at the clinic, Dr. Biggie enjoys the great outdoors, woodworking, and spending time with his family and critters.
Dr. Foster AndersonDr. Foster Anderson is an Ohio native, growing up in town of Johnstown, Ohio located in Licking County. Dr. Anderson received both a BS and BA from Ohio State University, and then graduated from Ohio State’s School of veterinary medicine in 2003. Dr. Anderson spent a semester in San Francisco CA, working at world-class wildlife center. Dr. Foster Anderson spends most Wednesdays at the Muskingum Livestock barn in Zanesville, working with beef cattle and stocker calves. Dr. Anderson has a special interest in multi-species medicine as well as working with exotic pets such as reptiles and birds. Dr. Anderson and his wife reside in Newark with their twin children.
Dr. Jonathan YardleyDr. Yardley grew up riding quarter horses and then competed on the Equestrian Team at Purdue University. Dr Yardley attended Tufts University Veterinary Program specializing in sport and performance horses. He then moved to the heart of horse country, Ocala Florida where he completed an Equine Surgery and Medicine Internship. Dr. Yardley did lameness and full medical exams, treatment, and surgery on sport and event horses. Then, he worked on thoroughbreds race horses with Teigland, Franklin, and Brokken. Dr. Yardley is focusing on equine medicine and hopes to expand the practice to sport, hunter-jumper, and family horses here. Dr. Yardley and his wife live in Pickerington with their dog Mr.Sweaters and Andy Pants both Australian Labradoodle. Recently Dr. Yardley and his wife Dr. Yardley joined the Columbus Curling Club located in Columbus. Dr. Yardley enjoys the skill and strategy it takes to win at Curling. Dr. Yardley can be found on the sheet on Thursdays. Next time you are in ask him about his curling experience. This summer Dr. Yardley has taken to road bicycling and is planning to ride in many charity events next year including the Pan-Ohio Hope ride. Someday he plans to ride his bike to work! Dr. Yardley enjoys spending free time with his wife. They enjoy evenings out in Columbus watching the Blue Jackets or the Clippers. They also enjoy shopping and eating at Easton Town Center.
Dr. Sarah MoserDr. Moser graduated from the University of Pennsylvania located in Philadelphia PA . She spent her summers of veterinary school out west working on cattle and sheep farms. As a student she got lots of hands on experience on these farms with herd health, management, and obstetrics. Dr. Moser also spent lots of time in the small animal hospital at Upenn. Upenn has a very diverse case load from gunshot wounds, hit by car dogs, to kidney transplants for cats. Dr. Moser has moved to Thornville area were she enjoys Buckeye lake and hiking with her Golden Retriever. When Dr. Moser is not at work she enjoys going to gym and playing basketball. Dr. Moser plans to buy a boat next summer to better enjoy beautiful Buckeye Lake. We are happy to Dr. Moser here at Feeder Creek. |
